Why are 12 steps in this course, when Teal's book has 18 steps? Is this related to the ‘12 Steps Program’?Updated a year ago

Teal refined and condensed the steps to create a streamlined, focused approach to healing. The process is even more effective and has no connection to the ‘12 Steps Program’ used in addiction treatment.
